Harpley is directly serviced by public bus route 449, with stops currently located on Black Forest Road, McGrath Road and Bulban Road connecting to Manor Lakes Shopping Centre, Wyndham Vale Square and Werribee Train Station. Werribee Train Station provides direct connections to the Melbourne CBD with a travel time of around 30 minutes. Located 12kms South-West of Harpley and 45kms South-West of the CBD is the shire of Mambourin.
